The red silk (Sedum × rubrotinctum) is a succulent that is difficult to find wild, since it is a species created by specialized farmers. Its extremely fleshy leaves are like the northern lights: they can vary in color and go from pale green to pink and even reach platinum white. It attracts snails and slugs, which are capable of devouring the stems of red silk in minutes.
